Hotel Grey Suit sits on the outskirts of Chennai, in Kakkavakkam — an hour's drive from the city and a world removed from it. 106 rooms, two banquet halls, a 24-hour kitchen, and a quiet pool set into the garden.
We were built for three kinds of guest: the business traveller who wants to arrive, work, sleep, and leave without friction; the wedding party that needs room to breathe; and the weekend visitor who'd rather trade a downtown skyline for green fields and a proper night's rest.

Standard Deluxe Room
Our most chosen category. A quiet, neatly appointed room with everything a working traveller or weekend guest asks for.
Twin Deluxe Room
Two beds, a little more floor area, and the same considered finish — made for colleagues travelling together or a parent and child.
Suite
Only two in the house. A separate living area, a larger bath, and the kind of calm that earns a return visit.

Our main dining room doesn't close. A breakfast buffet laid at dawn, Chettinad mains at lunch, a considered Continental card for European palates, and a kitchen that quietly keeps working for travellers on odd hours.

One bigger, if you need it.
Each 1,200 sq ft hall seats around 120 theatre-style. Opened into one, they give you 2,400 sq ft of pillarless floor — enough for a full wedding reception, a regional conference, or a product launch. AV and catering arranged in-house.

Awesome interior, plenty of parking, and the food — chapatti with Chettinad chicken curry is a top-notch combo.
The room was very neat and well organised. Everything worked perfectly — beautiful green farms and mountains in the back.
